Business Development Consultant

Reporting to: Head of Business

Location: Lakeside

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for generating quality appointments through outbound calling to prospective clients
  • Working towards daily and weekly targets to contribute towards growth
  • Making high volume business to business calls
  • Qualifying appointments and booking meetings for the business development manager
  • identify key markets and build relationships with prospective clients
  • Sourcing leads from various methods
  • Explaining and promoting the product to prospective clients
  • Assisting the business development manager with the sales process to achieve their sales targets
  • Maintain and updating the sales database
  • Ensure compliance with all company reporting, administration and sales processes and procedures
  • Maintain forward visibility of pipeline activity to ensure achievement of monthly and annual financial objectives.

Key Attributes, Experience & Skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter with proven track record in B2B telesales , having previously and consistently achieved agreed sales targets in an SME environment
  • Will be motivated in joining the SME at commencement of its accelerated growth strategy and over its 5 year sales and marketing plan
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding sales performance as an individual, ideally in a related field or business sector.
  • Excellent objection handling, influencing skills and rapport building.
  • Ability in recognising business opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Familiarity and skill with the key marketing tools including written communication, website development, market research, digital marketing and visual communication software products
  • Expert in internet and social media networking strategies, with a demonstrable track record

Employment Law/HR Consultant

Reporting to: Head of HR/Service Delivery Manager

Our common sense and friendly approach to advising means that Supportis will deliver a dedicated service bespoke to an organisation鈥檚 needs keeping their best interests at heart.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for providing Employment Law, HR advice and solutions to various clients as and when required. While also assisting in the development of relationships, HR products, services and documents.

Key Accountabilities:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide a telephone and email advisory service to clients on employment and HR issues, ensuring they are fully aware of their rights and the correct procedures and processes to follow.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Continually update knowledge of employment law and HR issues to ensure that our products, services and advice are updated and reflect current legislation.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Advising client on a variety of issues from disciplinaries, redundancies, TUPE and mostly non contentious matters.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Preparing formal policies and procedures, employee handbooks, statements of terms and conditions for clients.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Creating letters and other documents for clients as and when required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Providing commercial advice to various industry sector clients.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Create and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering employment and HR advice specific to their needs.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Undertake client audits to determine their HR requirements and services as and when required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepare and deliver presentations to clients where appropriate.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Preparation of the products and HR service documentation such as employee handbooks, contracts and letters.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support and update the sales team and alert them of any emerging issues.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Undertake projects and any other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Measures: Delivering accurate and timely advice to clients while adhering to employment legislation.

Job Specification

Essential

  • GCSE鈥檚 and O/A level (or Equivalent) C+ in English and Maths.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Human resources or similar legal industry related HR experience.
  • Experience in providing HR Consultancy or have worked in a shared service centre.
  • Experienced in all areas of HR and employment law, including terms and conditions, disciplinary and grievance, sickness and absence, performance and misconduct, TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, dismissal, employee relations.
  • Previous experience advising businesses across a variety of industries.
  • Is experienced in representing clients in a HR advisor capacity.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Experienced in problem solving and bringing staff issues to a successful conclusion.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent Client care.
  • Understands data protection & Confidentiality at the highest level
